Jonathan Ngai

Jonathan joined MCP in 2025 as a Senior Vice-President. He has more than 10 years of experience in infrastructure investment, asset management, and corporate advisory in the UK.

Prior to joining MCP, Jonathan was an Investment Manager at the State of Administration Foreign Exchange (SAFE), one of the world’s largest Sovereign Wealth Funds. Before that, he was  with GLIL Infrastructure and Deputy Portfolio Manager at Local Pensions Partnership Investments.

Jonathan began his career at Centrus Advisors, where he was part of the DCM and Corporate Advisory team. Before that, he joined the transport M&A specialist Hillbrook Partners (now GIP) based in UK.

Jonathan holds a BSc in Theoretical Physics from Imperial College London (UK), an MSc in Finance from LSE (UK), and an MBA from University of Cambridge (UK) where he was a Dean’s Scholar. He is also a CFA Chartered Financial Analyst.
