Jonathan Ngai, CFA

Jonathan joined MCP in 2025 as a Senior Vice-President. He has more than 10 years of experience in infrastructure investment, asset management, and corporate advisory in the UK.

Prior to joining MCP, Jonathan was an Investment Manager at one of the world’s largest Sovereign Wealth Funds. Before that, he was an Investment Manager of GLIL Infrastructure and Deputy Portfolio Manager at Local Pensions Partnership Investments.

Jonathan began his career in the DCM and Corporate Advisory team at Centrus Advisors, before joining the transport M&A specialist Hillbrook Partners (now part of GIP), both based in the UK.

Jonathan holds a BSc in Theoretical Physics from Imperial College London (UK), an MSc in Finance from LSE (UK), and an MBA from University of Cambridge (UK) where he was a Dean’s Scholar. He is also a CFA Chartered Financial Analyst.
