Thierry Tanoh

Thierry has more than 32 years of financial investments, banking and senior government experience worldwide.
Prior to joining MCP, Thierry was the Minister of Oil, Energy and Renewable Energy in Côte d’Ivoire and served as Deputy Chief of Staff in charge of Economic Affairs.
Previously, Thierry was the CEO of the pan-African bank, Ecobank Group, where he led the team to the highest organic growth in the bank’s history.
Thierry also spent 18 years at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), where he last held the position of Vice President in charge of Sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America and Caribbean, and Western Europe. During this time, he was responsible for the largest portfolio of investments of IFC.
Thierry holds a Bachelor’s in Business from Ecole Supérieure de Commerce d’Abidjan (Côte d’Ivoire), and an MBA from Harvard Business School (US). Thierry is a Certified Public Accountant (France).
