Alexandre Akhavi

Alexandre Akhavi has more than 19 years of extensive experience in banking, financial, business and international law.

Alexandre joined MCP in 2020. He is Executive Director, Head of Legal and Compliance Officer, responsible for the design and implementation of the firm’s global compliance program, as well as MCP’s legal activities.

Prior to joining MCP, Alexandre was head of legal and an executive committee member at Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Europe (ICBC Europe) in Paris, the world’s largest commercial bank.

Previously, he spent 11 years with EDF Group, which is the leading EU utility company. During this time, Alexandre was senior legal manager in charge of financing, treasury and cash management.

Alexandre holds a Master’s degree in law from the University of La Sorbonne in Paris (France) and a Master’s degree in business law, specializing in M&A from the University of Evry (France).
